Facilities

We currently have two buildings housing our dogs. Our whelping building is attached to our garage. This allows our new moms to birth their puppies is a quiet, secluded area away from the other dogs so that they feel safe and comfortable. It is a heated building with dividers in between each pen so each new mom and litter can have privacy until they reach approximately two weeks of age.

Our second building is 30 by 60 feet. This building houses the majority of our dogs including males, females, and mothers with puppies two weeks and older. Our mothers and puppies have large spacious pens that are 12ft long and 6ft wide so they have plenty of space to play. The puppies especially appreciate the heated floor as is it always the perfect place for a nap.

Our dogs without litters reside in runs on the north and east side of the building. They have the option of being in or out of the building as their runs extend on both sides of the buidling walls. The dogs especially love to run in and out of their dog doors as we work.  Inside the building the dogs have automatic waterers to ensure they are never without water. This building also has a heated floor to keep the dogs warm and feeders to provide plenty of feed out of the weather.

Outside of the building the dogs have 12ft by 4ft runs. These runs are placed on slanted concrete so that all water can run out of the dogs pens into drains when we wash or when it is raining. This helps keep the dogs dry and comfortable.

All of our dogs get out to run every day! We have a beautiful dog park that they can play in. We are planning on adding many toys and activities to the dog park such as a swimming pool to help keep cool in the summer!
